A veterans employment representative in Kansas, Karl Kandt connects veterans and current service members to employment options for consideration. Karl Kandt assists clients through job searches, resume preparation and mock interviews. He had similar tasks and success as a vocational rehabilitation counselor.
In addition, Mr. Kandt has assisted students and alumni at two Kansas universities. At Kansas State he provided career and job market guidance. While at Wichita State he was a coordinator for the athletic student services department, where he provided academic support services for student athletes.
Mr. Kandt earned a bachelors of fine arts in communication and a master’s in counselor education from Emporia State University, where he broadcast Hornet basketball games via radio. He went on to obtain a master’s in sports administration from Wichita State University.
Active in community service, Karl Kandt supports the Manhattan Kansas Solar Kiwanis group and several children’s charities. He has also been involved with the Manhattan High School and Emporia State alumni organizations. At home, he enjoys supporting college sports and local ranching operations.
